Zentek Network Infrastructure (NIS) department specialises in every aspect of network infrastructure topology design from a single data socket in an office to a 1000+ data and telephone socket project.

Network installations include the provision of industry standard cabling and the installation and configuration of network actives such as switches.  Clients may opt for the connection (patching) and testing of computers; with this information included as part of the project documentation pack.

This service also includes an option for the provision of network management software to control the network switches from a single management workstation.  Thresholds can be set to provide alarms based on nominated criteria to allow the network to remain operational.

Working alongside HP ProCurve, Zentek has now become a leader within the North West region for implementing full school-wide wireless managed environments, with two high profile reference sites within one LEA. Details are available upon request.

Zentek audits support current and prospective clients, by documenting their infrastructure in a logical manner that allows a development plan to be constructed.  The introductory audit is performed without charge and delivers an overview of the network infrastructure, illustrating the perceived value, capacity and capabilities, together with the provision of general recommendations.

To ease the management of the infrastructure, on completion of the project a documentation pack detailing an overview of the network infrastructure is provided.  Depending upon the solution purchased, this may include; schematics, patching records, test summaries, specifications and associated warranty certificates.

To ensure the network operates with the minimum of disruption, Zentek offers a number of site support agreements, utilising their skilled engineers.  These contracts can include all ICT related equipment, taking the worry out of managing your ICT provision!

Recommendations are offered on a “best advice” basis in partnership with nominated client contacts, with careful consideration to long term costs.  Discussions, initial audits and proposals are provided without charge and so every educational establishment should always consider Zentek for every network requirement.
